Safe temp for a Intel E600 and recommend a cooler!

Hi

My 1 week old E6600 is displaying 40c (while idleing) acording to my case. I was wondering if you lot knew the maximume operating tempeature and a safe tempeature for an E6600.

And can you recomend me a cooler which will fit on an Evga 680i mobo?

40c is quite normal with the stock cooler,

Cool room = cooler comp...room temperature is the most overlooked and preventable source of heat.

If you've done the basic stuff(case fans etc)...lower the A/C a notch or two.

well i live in the Uk and so dont have A/C, Shame my Zalman Falalt1y cant fit on my mobo that could keep my 3500+ below 30c in the same conditions
