how do i completely remove files? i heard if u just delete, small fragments of it remain and its hard to retrieve, but how do u delete it completely? i used a program called Recover4allprofessional and it can find all these files and i just want to purge them

I believe tweakguides.com has a few recommended programs for this. Check out the "Tweaking Companion" .pdf file.
You're right though, when you delete a file, it actually just deletes the first character in the file name. The hard disk will eventually overwrite the data as it needs it. What you want is a program to delete each byte of the data.

when you delete a file you only delete it from the hard drives directory. The file is there in whole till the space is used by a write. To get the files erased, you have to use a scrubber program.

That one is such a program. I have no idea as to it's quality and warn you that you should research it well before downloading or using.
