    Serious problem with BF2? help.

When i play Bf2, randomly i get sent back to the desktop and get cut off from the hole game.

Why is this? Iv'e just reinstalled bf2 and installed the full 1.41 patch.

(I had the similar problem a while back but i fixed it. I bought a new hard drive and a new heatsink and fan and it fixed it had no problems with it since. Bar now im just getting sent back to the desktop)

    AMD 3200+
    Radeon 9800 pro 128 mb
    1.5 DDR Kingston Ram
    80gb Hard drive.
    and a big fan haha.

(how come battle field 2 just gives people problems? why don't the company just make a game that f*cking works for everyone!!!!

Defrag your drive. Check your video and sound card drivers to make sure they are up to date. BF2 in general prefers Nvidia chipsets over ATI and that may be part of the issue.

Also, it may be heating or power supply related. If your power supply is dying, it may only be giving out partial power and crapping out in game when your vid card taxes it.

Drivers are the main cause of CTD i find. Make sure there uptdate and do some basic house keeping.

Dont moan about the Game untill youve fully checked ur pc over!

Good deal. Name your first child Simon.

Keep an eye on that power supply too. I don't trust it.
