joystick calibration troubles

i dont know how to calibrate my joystick for helicopter..!
i tried but i am starting to loose all the hope that i had..
i have extreme 3d pro (logitech) stick...
can somebody help me ...? :)

Firstly, have you set your controls up correctly?

After you've done that then most joysticks calibrate (zero) themselves in....I know my saitek evo does, not sure about logitech.

Yeah, it does. I don't have any trouble with my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
I used this set-up for jets, and almost the exact same thing for the chopper. I hope that helps.

OT: Can anyone explain what and how "pitch factor" and "yaw factor" is and how changing the setting effects things in game?

I think it's just like the mouse sensitivity. The higher the number the more it responds to subtle movements. So a pitch of 10 would only require the joystick or mouse to be moved forward a little bit to see the effect.

I believe that is the case. Otherwise, someone may correct me.
