cant setup

I heard i need to reinstall the bf2 game in order to install the new patch if i get the error that cant find the install directory. but now when i try to uninstall, it wont let me. it lets me choose language, loads, then crashes. Thats it. and i cant reinstall it either. same problem. the setup wont run, why??

You shouldnt have to reinstall bf2 to install 1.41 full.
I would try doing a system restore to a previous date on which your pc could run bf2, than dl and install 1.41 full.
