    need help very badly

I know its kind of long but please read it, I need the help. I cant play bf2 anymore!!

Ok, so a while back my brother baught Black and White 2 and I went to install it on my computer and it said my video card needed to be updated, I didnt think anything of it, I just did it and my comp crashed and when I booted it back up the video card wasnt loaded on there at all so I had to dump everything from my computer and install everything again. I dont have B&W2 on there, just COD2 and BF2 and Deer Hunter 2005 but now my card messes up on every game I play. In BF2, I can play for about an hour and then everything will turn black and a few minutes later my game will crash. Same with the others, cept deer hunter (maybe cus it doesnt take much to run it, idontknow)
But I think I need a new card. I've tried reloading it, updating it and everything and it still wont work right. I have a ATI Radeon Viper 9600XT 256mb. Im thinking about getting another card from EBAY for cheap but my parents wont let me being we gave $300 for that card about 2.5 years ago unless I know for certain that its the card and not the settings. I've also ran BF2 on every setting it wont help.
    Can someone help me PLEASE!

        ^ Wut he said.

Also, how dirty is your case?

9600xt's aren't bad cards, even today. If it is sending output, especially during gaming, my guess is that the guts of the card are just fine. You may just have a layer of dog hair (as my little brother did with my poor card that I donated to him) on the cooling fan. Or elsewhere.

Yar. Without filters, anything that can get inside a computer case will. His had a side fan blowing directly into the pc, and it was picking up everything in the air, including a fur coat's worth of dog hair from my families 4 "inside" dogs. When I built it, I built it with my 1-cat apartment in mind, not with a sled team full of perpetually shedding woofies. :)
