Pop off the case and see if the light is on on your mobo, if not then it's not getting power at all...replace your fuse and if that doesn't do the trick then it's most likely your psu.

your lucky it went quietly, my mates Dell PSU made a bang and filled the room with smoke taking the mobo down with it.

Just replace it with a spare one to see if it boots. But someone told me when a PSU goes it can put some funny voltages down the cables blowing the mobo most likely and anything it wishes to kill along the way!
