    Sound!

It seems sound has a HUGE impact on this game.
I recently upgraded my system (in sig) i now play on all high settings.
I wouldnt have it any other way now
Only thing i did not upgrade was sound, i used to be able to play music while playing on low sound settings. I now cranked sound to max as well which is sweet cos my rig can handle it, until i play winamp also.
I get 80+ FPS until i fire up winamp for some tunes (some good tunes can get the adrenalin running lol)
If i upgrade my sound card will i be able to play on high settings without lag?
Or do i need to lower sound settings to play music at same time?

Dont get me wrong i love to hear those sneaky knifers sneaking up on me, but i also like some good music when playing at times.

Sooooo........ can audio on high settings along with music be done?
Or do i need to play music on my stereo? which aint really good cos i use headphones lol
Someone with high end soundcard please reply
Cost aint really an option :)
Im willing to pay for sound bliss!

    Re: Sound!

X-Fi is what u need,by Creative Labs.Sound cards have their own "processor" so they dont depend on the CPU for the most part.

      Re: Sound!

I have a creative labs audigy (or whatever you call it) at the moment. Are you sure an x fi will be able to play BF2 on high sound and play music at same time? I read alot about x-fi, some swear by it, others dont.
Do YOU play BF2 on high audio and listen to music at same time?
      Does it affect your FPS?
