Crash as if I press ALT & TAB

Hi chaps, since today my BF2 crashes out of a game and minimises to desltop - it has been running fine and as the PC is a pure game pc there have been no changes at all (never **** a running system).

What on earth is this - any advice???

Sometimes my system doesnt minimize when I alt tab it will freeze the gmae and will show windows mouse but then ill have to alt tab till get select bf2 again to maximize

I have dual 7900 GTX
Pentium 4 Dual Core
4 Gigs of ram..

ALT+ TAB is like a hotkey to switch between different stuff on ur desktop if u hold down ALT and tap TAB u can select which thing u want to see...i use it all the time to hide CS under a word document

That is bizzare, you specs look more than perfect.
i believe a reinstall is in order, or a direct EA Games support forum question.

I use ctrl + alt + delete to get me back to desktop. Sometimes i have to do it twice but it works and can bring the game back up no problem. Never crashes. Give a try

System specs:

1GB
AMD 2400+
Aureon 5.1 PCI soundcard
2x 80GB Samasung 7.200 RPM HD
MSI motherboard - all drivers up to date and MB flashed.

Problem started all of a sudden without any changes to the running system.

I am still experiencing the problem even after a full format C and with just BF2 as a game running.....
