I was wondering if there was a way to put special forces xpack folder into regular bf2 folder, so i wouldn't have to load up each one every time i want to switch games. in other words, i would like it if i could browse through servers, with sf and vanilla maps, with the convenience of not having to reload each game. Sorry if i don't make sense, its hard to explain.

I don't think so. BF2 loads the SF expansion just as it does any other mod. -

one way to do it would be to use Qtracker. you can browse all bf2 server including SF, EF, AF, etc, and when you launch it runs with the correct command line startup for that mod."Crunch's First Officer"

not sure as i dont have sf but is there a bf2sf.exe and u can make a shortcut of that and just use that to get instantly into the game instead of having to load bf2 first and then switch.Comment

its not that i have to run regular bf2 first, i could jump right into sf and play it, i just want them to kind of be the same game so that it seems like regular bf2 has all the maps like warlord n whatnot.Comment

Really don't think its going to work like you want it to. SF is a mod, which means it takes BF2 basic information, and changes it. I don't think you're ever going to be able to run them in parallel.
Then again, DICE made EF and AF work from within BF2 so you just might be able to do the same for SF somehow. Punkbuster may see this as a "hack", though.
