can you fix this?

Hello,
I just installed internet explorer 7 and windows media player11 along with a few other windows updates and now when I try to open bf2 the bf2 logo comes up and it goes to a blackscreen with the dvd spinning as if its loading but then it just goes right back to the desktop with no message and doesnt load. Sorry for the fragment and thanks for the help.

I know that IE7 and EA downloader had serious conflicts, but I haven't heard anything about IE7 and BF2. Worst case, reisntall BF2 (yah, it's a pain). If you saved your 1.4 patch file, then you'll be back up and running in ~30min.

Yea I tried some things that didnt work so I had to reinstall and its running now. Sucked cause I had to redownload the patch. I did download a update for my monitor microsoft update somehow had and I think that might of done it.

Ya theres some kind of incompatibility with IE7 and BF2, do what mega said.
