High ping(Not too high, though)

Hi.

I have DSL, and my ping is usually 90+, but I keep hearing of people having ping that is around 40 or 50. I'd like to have that sort of ping. Is it my internet connection, or am I doing something wrong?

Any thoughts?

Where are you and what servers do you play on?

I'm in korea and get about 10-50 on Korean servers, if I go and play on Japan servers my ping can be from 70-170.. this doesn't really cause any probs though just been playing tonight on a Japan server and did quite well.

If I want to play on US servers my ping goes from 100-200+ which can be a pain but usally the us players are finishing an all nighter or just getting up so I can kick *** quite well!!!!

Exactly what is stated above, we need to know what speed your connecting at & if your connnecting to local servers or ones located at the other side of the world. When i connect to UK servers i range from 15 to 20, to US or European servesr about 90 max. Also note that you may want to scan your system for adware,spyware and viruses and being infected with these can eat your connection.
