    Third graphics card?

i am currently watching me mate play the FSX demo using dual screens, it seems very practicle.

The question is can this be achieved using a pci card for the second screen? I know pci cards are evil and probably not powerful enough but i thought it worth asking if you guys had any suggestions.

I do already have dual 7800gt's but i have a 30" Dell monitor so its somewhat unlikely i would be be prepared to run them as individual cards because i would like a framerate at a reasonable resolution. Hence the only spare slots is pci. I could get a 7950x2 card and then use one 7800 for this but that would require to much money and most likely a new psu on top.

    Suggestions?

Your 2 78's are quite capable of running 2 monitors.

7800's are quite capable of running four monitors but as i hinted at, primary display has a native res of 2560x1600, i am stuck with the need for sli to utilise the primary display and can already quite easily max the cards out. Hence the interest in a seperate card for a second display.
