i have been forever trying to find a good headset for VOIP on BF2 but can only find full sterio headsets where i just want to use the mic part of it and my satilate speakers for the sound ... as looking for something an idea came to me and i need advise on it, if i got a bluetooth dongle plus a bluetooth ear piece will i be able to configure it to be used for VOIP and internet chat??

update: i got a bluetooth headset and a dongle went to plug the dongle into the computer and the outside case broke $50 and it breaks on me first time anyway i just pluged the guts of it in and managed to set it up played BF2 got a wierd beep in my ear but no working VOIP, finished the game and now the dongle has compleatly died ... sooo a couple of more days until i get a new dongle (asus one this time) and i will have another update to say if its working good or notComment

you can still use a headphone/mic heaset combo and just use the mic portion and your normal PC speakers. i used to do that before i stepped on my heaset and broke it.
basically, all you need to do is go into your control panel in windows and into the audio devices or whatever its called. there are little pull down menus for sound play back and sound recording.
in my case, under sound play back i selected my audigy sound card, and then in sound record, i would select my logitech headset.Comment

yeah i used to do that with my old playstation 2 headset i got with socom but i have also broken that and never found a good replacment, update also got new dongle today and tested it out, works great team members can hear me perfectly i recremend it if u want to spend the money to set it upComment
