ATI are to use GDDR4 running at 1000mhz on their R600 cored cards, Nvidia are using GDDR3 but have a 384bit memory interface on the GTX cards to increase bandwidth.

Just as a point of reference the 7800GTX had about 38GB/s memory bandwidth, the 8800GTX has 86.4GB/s.

yea im guessing the overclocking is wat does it =]
if only i didnt get a stoopid error every time i overclock it wouldnt be a problem lol

if only i could run 3dmark period, damn 7900 series you suck, and im not RMAing just to run it. bf2 runs fine for reason, but all 3dmarks crash and burn with hardcore artifacts. lol and my second dvi output only displays blue and red, hence making my screen pink

Im not gonna preorder im waiting till those things droppppp. its like buying a car without test driving it, for some they dont care and others its a must, for me i gotta try before i buy:)
