    Re: Triple buffering

depends largely on your resolution vs your gfx memory amount

        Re: Triple buffering

i read that triple buffering is only good when u have Vsync on, which i dont because vsync can take off a few fps

(vsync is only good if u r getting over 60 fps)

Do a search, there was a post a while back about how to set up tripple buff and vsycn for LCD monitors.

I didn't even know there was an option to have it enable on BF2. I thought you have to have it done thruh the DX9 folders and stuff. And that when you have it on, you have to use Vsycn

i think its in ur nvidia control panel

right click on screen > properties > settings > advanced > video card name tab and under performance & quality on the left, set the view to "advanced settings" and scroll down and i think if u set triple buffering to on, itll stay that way in games

Uhm...I'm pretty sure Bf2 doesn't support Triple Buffering. Only OpenGL games do. You can get a program that does it, but Punkbuster, in its wisdom, has blocked this program as a cheat.

See that's what i was talking about. But there's a way to make it work. You also have to set Vsync on while using TBuff, and the way i read about it, it was done with the DX9 program inside the computer or something to that sort. Imma look for the post see if i can find it.

Yes, but punkbuster hates that program.
