    Upgrade help

Okay so i going to build a new computer but then i finnally ccame to realize that i didnt have enough money, nor close.
i have basically a low end computer, i cant build or buy a new one without more than $500, i cant get a job, (underage) and i really need a decent rig
so upgrading would probably be best..
    hhere are my current specs:

Intel Celeron 1.7 single core
    1 GB PC133 RAM
160 GB 7200 WD Hard Drive
ATI Raedon x1600 Pro AGP 256 MB
Creative Soundblaster 16 PCI , an Ancient sound card:cry:

i was wondering if someone could help with the things i REALLY need to upgrade to get performance, i really cant thange videocards because i've gone through 3 this year already and my parents are getting f***ing pissed off.I get like 15-25 fps usually, but i know this card can perform a lot better.
The sound card is horrible, what should i upgrade to?
is it really necessary to buy more RAM??
    thanks:)

    Re: Upgrade help

Its that CPU and RAM which aren't helping you. SDRAM on a socket 478 is pretty ugly. You should be able to shop around and get an AMD processor, mobo and 1GB of RAM for about $250-$300. Then maybe a better graphics card or more RAM......

actually the only things you can salvage from that machine is the case and HDD.....
