    Upgraded to E6300

Well guys, i just got the rig runing again. Went from a Pentium 640 and a 100 dollar 915G mobo and an Aspire case plus DDR400 at CAS 205 to a E6300, DDR667 CAS 3, 965P Asus 230 mobo, and also got a raptor X150. and wow, this little 1.86 CPU is alot quicker than my old P640. If anyone is looking to update, i can definetly say that it is a quick and good proccesor.

P.S. Got an Antec P180 for a case.

I am not sure how that board overclocks, but you should have probably spent the extra cash and gotten an ASUS P5B. If you had you could have gotten that CPU to 3ghz+ on air. When my rig was working it blew away anything I have ever seen. Hope you enjoy the Core 2 Duo rig!

You should have gotten a DS3 or ABIT, nice case.

      Cheers with the new system.

        thanks guys

Dethred i did get the P5B deluxe wifi ap. but right now im having some problems, might be my memory, i did memtest and i got 45 errors on 12 passes over night. I already sent for an RMA, i just hope is not the mobo, i been having weird random restarts. Oh and i love the case, but is heavy as hell.
