crashing problem

Specs:
amd 64 3000+
1 gig ram
265mb 6600
i've been playing the game of a bit on these drivers on the retail version cause every patch causes this to happen i open it black screen for about a minute and close abruptly. I can get into the gmae start to play a map then it crashes for no reason and no error either.

I have a very similar problem.. but much worse.

I connect to a game fine and play for about 2-5 mins then all of a sudden the game resets my computer. I have tried everything from reinstalling a number of times, repatching 1.4, changing my gfx drivers, turning VOIP off. And still it has not fixed the problem. I have loaded the demo for 2142 and it runs absolutely fine on highest settings.

My comp is:

AMD 3000+, 6800GT, 1.5Gb of DDR RAM.

I have looked all over the net for an answer and nothing. I've tried the EA ticketing system and i can't even get that to work. This problem is really frustrating me.

Please someone give me an answer. Thanks in advance!!!

I think your power supply is poked.

it might be but i highly doubt it as 2142 is a more demanding game and my comp doesnt reset while playing it. Also this does not happen with any of my other games just bf2.
