Editing the default settings question

Hi all,

I've been trying to edit the games default video & control options but i'm having no luck. It seems to be hard coded into the game. I run a small LAN centre and having to set all the video and control options for my customers every time they retreive an account is such a pain....

Does anyone know how to change the default options so when I click on the reset to default button I get the video and controls I want? I've edited every file i can find but the game gives me 800*600 res whenever I create a new player account ....

If it is just the reolution you wish to change you can add it to the command line so it ignors what is written in the config file.
Change it to read
"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1024 +szy 768
for example so the game always runs at 1024x768.

Cant think of a suggestion for the controls though.
