P.S. I've only really decided to upgrade because BF2 eats up my FPS because of my large monitor and resolution and I have buddies that have done a similar upgrade and BF2 doesn't even flicker with it. I know there are other games out there but this game has been so fun and I know I will be playing it for a while.

I like it, that case can be troublesome, but with the correct psu it will work nicely. i have the brushed aluminum version, i love it. Why even get a floppy? You also might want to get a slightly more powerful psu incase you decide to upgrade in the future.

on a side note, consider a raptor, i notice a huge increase in performance. even a little 36gb version, for just the operating system and your fav games.

just so you know, i just checked newegg.com that case is going for $114.99 US,
or at least my version is. http://http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129154

Well, if you look at my current specs I have the P180 with the same Antec PSU and it's been a dream for me. As for the floppy I still use it for homework or whatnot I need to bring from class. If I upgrade more so in the future I'll get a better psu but after this upgrade it should last me another year. Also, as far as the raptor it's way more expensive + with my current setup I load as fast or slightly slower than guys with raid setups :) so it doesn't make sense to buy one of those.

very nice setup, except why not buy the e 6300 and overclock the hell out of it, my e6300 is at 2.8 ghz on air, and when i had the water cooling i was at 3.0 for a bit.
Either way that setup is gonna make you happy.

Very nice setup, but I would be wary about spending that much money on a video card right before DX10 cards come out. How big is your monitor?

It's in my specs but anyways it's a Samsung SyncMaster 204B 5ms @ 1600x1200 native resolution. I originally payed 650 for my x1900xt! this x1950xtx is way cheaper. I don't plan on going to vista for a long time since I didn't go to XP for about 2 or more years after it came out. Sorry, I'm off to bed it's late for me (class in the morning)
