  • how many FPS, do u have during a round?

    i know it depends of map, but i just wonder

    Fraps shows me 25-80

    a64 3000+ non OC
    2x1gb ddr
    7900gt top

    and you?

      80 fps wtf? I thought all games were capped at 60 fps.

          Turn V-Sync off in the Nvidia control panel. BF2 is capped to 100FPS (110?) but you can remove it via a command but I cant remember it.

                There is a huge difference between 80fps and 24fps. At 24fps it's very jerky and at 80fps it's silky smooth.

                  That's a myth. Your eyes can tell the difference between even 30 and 40 fps.

                    My eyes can tell the difference between 60 & 80 fps... But I only get like 50-60 fps on BF2 with everything high.

                      my eyes cant tell a difference between like 40 and 60 but u can certainly feel the smoothness and i get like 70 idle but in combat at the hotel in karkan...it drpos to like 20s

                        smooth all the time except for lag spikes/connection issues! max out at 103FPS according to fraps, drops to about 65 FPS during insane action.
