PSU noises

I just noticed that my power supply makes this low pitch sound when the pc is off.Should i start shopping for a new one?

That is a little scary. Any Smells? Does it do this when on and maybe you dont hear it?

no smells, and i don't know if it does it when its on cause the fans in my pc are too loud

I doubt it, ill just shut my PSU off when i leave my house

As a matter of fact turning the PSU on and off every time stresses your PSU more than leaving it on.(actually this is true for all components in your PC). My PC is on 24/7. But of course your electric bill will be a little higher. :laugh:
