Should I upgrade?

Well i've been thinking for a while but would like some others input on this decision.

Should I upgrade my ethernet cable which is currently CAT5 to CAT6?

If I was to do this, what type of benefits would it create.

are you connecting to the internet through another computer, and sending vast quantities of data from one comp to another over the network? Otherwise i cannot think of a reason to upgrade.
