I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, which used to work well, but now the calibration seems to arbitrarily be messed up. Why would this happen? I haven't even been using it in the past 3 months, and when I come back to try out flying planes again, it constantly pushes me down, so I cant even pull my rudders up all the way. I really don't want to get rid of it because I like the design alot and it feels really comfortable to handle, and has a good amount of buttons. If you fellow pilots out there could give me some advice on how I should take care of it I would greatly appreciate it.

I went and bought anotherone when mine started doing that. One of the switches inside stuffed up and it would pull back hard right. Good for barrel rolls but no good for anything else.Comment

Make sure you are not moving around the joystick when you are starting the game other then that I dont know how to help you.Comment

try using the calibration setup that comes with windows. Go to START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL
and look for joysticks/gaming devices double click, and i believe there is some sort of calibration tab or something of that nature. I cant remember because I havent calibrated my joystick in months.Comment

The first thing you did wrong was buy a Logitech joystick, the second thing, is you ddint take it back the day you bought it.
