Help: find out reason for bandwidth drop...

I have a 512Kbps wireless connection (with a 54Mbps wireless router), and usually get 60-110 ping on US servers. Lately, I have been getting 120-200 ping which REALLY causes trouble when doing anything in BF2.

A couple weeks ago I used this speed test, and it gave back 480Kbps.
Now, when I run it, it gives 340.9Kbps.

I know for sure nobody else is connected to my wireless network because there isn't anybody else in range of it.

How can I find out why it's dropped? If you need any more info, just ask. I don't know what you would need to figure this out.

having you tried calling your ISP?

and you can never be too careful of who is trying to leech your internet, always safer to enable wep/wpa

I have a 1.5 Mb wireless internet and my bandwith is allways drop'n off. Its not my ISP though, because of were I live all of my traffic is routed through Dallas TX and the nodes there are constantly hosed. I check this use'n a online trace route utility found here

Here you see I have good pings eccept 1 node in Dallas that spikes near 100.

I think I have wpa. I should probably call my ISP...evil people
