Whether you need a new mobo depends on your current mobo socket. If your current socket is LGA 775 then you dont need a new mobo.

100% incorrect. You have to have the correct chipset. If you get any old 775 Socket T motherboard you're more than likely going to have compatibility issues. Some of them only need bios flashes, some chipsets just won't work with Core 2 Duo.

The real benchmarks are ingame. To me 3d mark is just a bunch of numbers. What i would like to see how well they perform ingame.

Get a Gigabyte DS3 or DQ6. Fantastic Core 2 Duo motherboards, and can support the upcoming quad core processors also.

Quad core isnt going to be good for gaming. I've heard its only going to be good for folding.

I heard something about that ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe. It was very good and stuff. And do you mean 'Ati support' that I doesnt support Nvidia vid cards? And DDR2 Ram is that stuff with 1 gig RAM I have atm. Don't know if it's DDR2 :/

You are right, I forgot about the chipset, it has to be compatible. My mistake!
