    Re: PCI-Express cards

if you build a pc with my specs, it will run every game you can throw at it on high, you might want to wait for the dx10 cards to come out though, im sort of kicking myself for not waiting. Anyway, just look up the parts on newegg.

Tell us your budget first and then we can help you. If you want to wait till DX10 before to spend a lot of money, then get a 7600GT or for a little more the 7900GS.

Just go with the evga 7600gt ko. With 2 gigs of ram and a decent processor, you'll get high settings in BF2 easily. Only around 150$, mind you on the lesser side like 140 ish.

I enjoy my x1900xt 512mb alot and i think its come down in price abit . Allso id go for an Amd 64x2 , i know Bf2 isnt made for duel cores but they sure come in handly for other things .

                    summary of link:
                    Best PCIe Card For ~$140
                    Geforce 7600 GT
                    Codename: G73, 90 nm technology
12 Pixel shaders, Five Vertex shaders, 12 Texture units, Eight Raster operations processors
                    128 bit memory bus
560 MHz core, 700 MHz DDR (1400 MHz Effective) Memory

The 7600 GT is an amazing card in this price range, sporting new SM 3.0 technology and very high clock speeds to deliver excellent performance. Its weakest feature is its 128 bit memory bus, but its high memory speeds offset that disadvantage and make it competitive with 256 bit cards like the X85 XT.

                    $120 shipped after $30 rebate
