Hi!
I'm running BF2 on my laptop with the following specs:
1,83 GHz Pentium M
1 GB RAM
GeForce Go 6800 256 MB
So far I've only played at 1024x768 resolution, but I've been playing around with the general graphics settings (shadows, textures etc), and noticed something weird happening when I increase the settings: there is no noticeable FPS lag, but occasionally I'll loose control of the character for a few seconds. It's as if things freeze up for a few seconds. (for example, I'll loose my aim, my vehicle will hit the ditch, etc). Very annoying, as it effectively renders the game unplayable at higher graphics settings. I've never encountered anything like this in terms of hardware related lagging..
So has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way around?
