    Question about GPU tempeature

    Im wondering i just got Everest Home edition and noticed that my GPU is running at 57C with out overclocking is that normal?

    on ati cards idle 50's are normal. load temps are usually around 80c. I use atitool and override my fan speed settings. I idle 46c 65c load playing a couple hours of bf2 on my x1800xt. unsure of nvidia cards.

      alright thanks im running a Nvidia 6800 but im glad thats its not overly hot i thought there was a problem with my fans

        57c is nothing to worry about, threshold should sit somewhere around 100c for shut down. depending on ambient temperature, mine sits around 49c > 58c. its a rather hot day/night i will put a small fan in front of the tower to increase air flow, knocks about 4c off usually :)

          57 is nothing to worry about especially on 6800 cards

          they usually run really hot sometimes at 70-80 degree load temps
