Logitech Extream 3D Pro Users

Hey all

Do any pilots here use the Logitech X3DP? i was wondering if anyone has the same problem where the aircraft always moves slightly to the left when maintaining level flight with no rudder or aileron being applied? also do you think using a joystick is more accurate than flying with mouse?:)

Joysticks suck in my oppinion, Then again thats only because i cant get off the ground without flipping my plane upside down xD

It's a good joystick but yes, I've noticed mine does yaw to the left, very slightly.

This is exactly what I said to someone a few weeks ago about this piece of crap joystick.

Had that problem with the Formula Force Wireless joystick.
I now use the Force 3D Pro. Works a treat.
Key board is definatly more responsive to fly with but the joystick will have you flying almost like a pro in no time at all.

Same problem here, but what mine does it very strang. I can fly normally then all of a sudden the plane will flip as if I have pulled down+left, you just have to wait for the plane to crash, then jump back in another and its fine again. Very strange.

They all have calibration problems.

the Logitech 3D Pro is known for eventually steering left or right, the only way to fix it is to open the joystick and clean the pots, I had to do that to mine last night,

an easier way, is to call Logitech and tell them it's pulling to one side, and they will ship you a brand new one under warranty..

all lies. I've had to post this quite a few times, the JS needs to be reset and it goes back to normal. Here's how you fix it without needing to pull anything apart or download some 3rd party program to calibrate it.

I have logitech extreme 3d pro. It is a great joystick but occasionally the calibration the joystick calibration will drift. To recalibrate, unplug the USB then move the joystick in circles and press some buttons for 30sec (discharges sensors). Then plug in and check the joystick properties (control panel) to see that the joystick is centered. If not, repeat. This happens to me every couple months of heavy use.

works like a charm for me. I've been using this joystick since beginning of bfv.

ya, my twist handle is a little loose to the left. its really tight on the right side tho. i got used to it.
