Wanting to upgrade my 2 smaller hdd's to something bigger...need suggestions

Alright, here is my current setup:

    Athlon x2 3800+
    evga 7800gt
Silverstone psu 500w (dual rail sli ready)
    2 hdd's, 1 is 80 gig 7200 rpm for o/s and programs the other is 80 gig 7200 rpm for songs/movies etc
    3 gig of ram pc3200
mobo is asus (don't remember model number off top of my head and I'm at work)
I do have sata ports available as my current hdd's are setup using ata 100/133

What I'm wanting is faster hard drive read/write times along with more storage space. I currently have about 40 gig free on both but it's slowing down (ran defrag and spyware/antivirus). I kinda want this to be a last upgrade for a while on my computer until I start saving for my other build...but in the mean time, suggestions?

    Budget is within 150 dollars.

10k rpm sata drives cost a small fortune to what they offer in the way of storage space,

you could easily get a few 250gb 7200rpm sata drives for $150
