Need advice on a 19" LCD for BF2

It's time for me to join the modern era and get an LCD. I kind of like the Viewsonics. I don't want widescreen just yet. I'm looking to spend $200-$250. Let me hear what you use and how you like it with BF2. Thanks

p.s. DVI is a must. No analog for me.

    I have a 19" DCL-LCD, with 1000-1 contrast, and 8ms response. It was $250 CAD, and I love it.

I wouldn't waste my money on a HD or a Widescreen yet unless I had plenty to burn. They will still get so much cheaper in the next 12-18 months.

I have a Viewsonic X924 3ms. Very happy with it. Don't know what they cost these days. I paid $600 Aussie for it last year.

I don't get a expensive one but it was worth the money I've got a Samsung Syncmaster 920N and I really like it. It's also my first LCD and so I've never had a 17" or something but immediately a 19"

Of course mine's way more beautifull than that one I got it in silver/black =)

        BEWARE 56K

The only con is that it's VGA but new video cards mostly include DVI - VGA Adapters =)

Only $10 over your budget... this > that

          Monitor: BenQ FP202W Black 20.1" 8ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 600:1 0.258mm Pixel Pitch

But if you want a tiny monitor get something with no useless built in speakers, and something that has a DVI cable

            I've got this one:

            http://www.pcconnection.com/ProductD...D53BBBDC6457FE

$219, $99 after 2 rebates. You fill out the $100 online, print it, and mail it. If you give up $10 of your $100 rebate, they guarantee to send your rebate to you in 1-2 weeks instead of 10. Other rebate is $20, and it takes a while (still waiting, 2 months later).

Oh, and I can't tell the difference between this one and a viewsonic at work.

The spec you you need to worry about is " responce time " the lower the number the better it will be for gameing. Most peeps claim anything over 5ms will cause ghosting.

I have an 8ms monitor, and I haven't seen it yet. The technology is not that old yet.

But when/if you can get faster monitors cheaper, giv'er. :)
