You don't need much to play BF2 on high.

Just make sure you have AT LEAST 2GB memory with an ATi X800 or better (I recommend X1900XT) But then again, you'd need to make sure you have a good power supply too.

would help if you could give an idea of your budget

Don't get a Pentium. The best processor right now is Intel Core 2 Duo, for example E6400.

I play with everything on high and I only have 1 gig ram.

Make sure you get a good graphics and sound card. Dual core memory would be good also.

You can get a decent computer for 700 pounds, but we do need to know if we need to include a monitor.

just out of curiosity, what are the specs of your laptop now and what settings do you play at? And is your 750 pound budget before or after including the VAT?

really should have asked this at the start but it was late last night and i wasnt thinking straight anyway are you wanting to buy it prebuilt or are you gonna put it together yourself?

if your buying pre built i always rated the mesh pc's such as this one

the best place to look for Hardware in the UK is scan at the moment

unless you live really close to another Hardware Store so you dont have to pay deilvery

I think you could have at least med-high possibly all high on it but i cant say for sure as i myself dont have a 7600 card and i dont know anyone who does although i have heard they are very good cards another good pint about that system is there is room for upgrading if you decide to go that way in future
