I have just put my old radeon 9200 back into my comp and downloaded drivers 6.8. Now it wont install them it says i need to get a basic vga driver first. Where would i get one of these from and what one would i need i am using windows hp if that makes a differance.

The VGA driver would be the one that comes with your PC. A VGA driver is a chipset related driver so that when you install a new video card you'll have video until you install the hardware drivers. So if you have a pre-built PC, Dell, HP etc. you would have a disk that came with your PC for restoring software and drivers. Look for it on that disk. Or if it's a home built PC like mine is you would find the drivers under the manufacturers website, nVidia, VIA, Asus, etc. Hope this helps.Comment
