Is the price of the 7600 GT gonna drop with the release of the 7950GT?

It more than likely will. I would not expect to see a price drop greater than $15-30 bucks though.

It's the 7900gt with 512mb of memory and somewhat higher clocks... I believe about 550mhz on the core and 1400mhz memory. Or you could consider it a 7900gtx with lower clocks, whatever. But it's fan only takes up one slot.

most likely, the price of graphics cards is constantly dropping- for example a 850xt pe was 500$+ not too long ago, but now you can get it for around 190 on newegg and it still rivals the preformance of the x1900 series cards and if you dont like the price of a certian card wait a month and it will be much lower.

P.S. 512mb isnt really usefull at all, only if youre running super mega high resolution will you need that much memory

                  Buy this card jhll ~!~

When you don't use AA it's a tiny bit slower then the 7950 GT and when you use 4x AA it's a tiny bit faster

and either way for $60 less it's an amzing buy

the best cards to get at the moment in mid-high range are the 7950gt or if you have less money the 7900gs

that kinda money is just too much for nice graphics
