Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I ordered a EVGA 7600GTS and I know that it can run all high but, the problem is I only have 1GB of RAM. So I wanted to know exactly what settings use the most RAM. I know that textures I should put to medium, but what else to help loading times? I really don’t care a lot about the eye candy just as long as Im not turning stuff to low.
Terrain High
Geometry High
Lighting Medium
DynamicLighting Low
DynamicShadows off
Effects High
Textures Medium
TextureFiltering High
Resolution 1024x768@75Hz
Antialiasingx2

That looks about right, but you could also run at a littler higher res (1280x1024 or maybe even 1600x1200) if you bumped the terrain, effects, and texture filtering down to medium.
You'll have to experiment to find the sweet spot for all your hardware. Unfortunately, plan on seeing this alot:
"optimizing shaders, please wait. this optimization will occur every time you change your video settings."
good luck; i've heard good things about that card.
yeh it can do, make sure your pagefile is set correctly too. I have a 7600GT XXX, personally i use all medium except for the following;
Geometry HIGH (helps me see things further away in chopper)
Both dynamic options OFF (i never noticed any gain what so ever)
View Distance Scale 100% (again helps me see everything on the map)
Lighting LOW (lets you see inside buildings and you will always see that sniper camping!)
thats with 2GB ram and i see FPS in 80's pretty much all the time. Peak of 103FPS so far. Yeh and go for 1280x1024 if your monitor supports! Make sure once you have finalized your video settings that you do a shader cache clean out and defrag etc....
I am a somewhat of a newbie when it comes to computers so i dont know how and what to set my pagefile to. Also how do you do a shader cache clean out and what does that do?
Pagefile is something you can read about www.tweakguides.com see the tweak guide companion. That will tell you how to set it, most people say your pagefile should be set at x1.5/x2 your amount of physical ram.
Shader cache clear out....finalize your BF2 settings first. Quit to desktop and go to MyDocuments>Battlefield2>Mods>BF2>Cache and delete folder(s) in there. Then start your game, load a map (you will get the shader optimization message) once loaded map quit to desktop again and run a defrag on your drive. That will put all those shader files etc..back together and you will load quicker and generally see smoother gameplay.
Also at www.tweakguides.com is a Battlefield 2 tweaking guide, i recommend having a browse through!
i just got the card today. It is amazing! Im playing at these settings:
Terrain: High
Geometry: High
Effects: High
Textures: Medium
Lighting: Medium
Dynamic shadow: Medium
Dynamic light: low
AA: 2x
Texture Filtering: High
Res: 1024x768 75Hz
I get 50-65 FPS and sometimes it drops to 38-43. Do these frame rates sound right? Also what im amazed at is my loading times are only about 5-10 sec more (used to play on all low/off). I dont understand how it happens but it does.

Sounds good. You do know that turning off dynamic shadows will let you see people hiding in shadows easier, and it will increase the fps?
