    Glowing White?

While playing BF2 or BF2SF, when I die the ground turns to a glowing white I respawn and it goes back to normal. The map in SF when you are the british and you can parachute into the city, the ground glows white and stays glowing white, I cant even play that map. Sometimes on Wake Island while I am walking up the beach head the ground will start glowing white then turn back to normal.

I have a PNY Geforce 7300 GS, all the latest drivers, 1gig or ram, AMD Athlon 64 3400+, 200gig HD.

I cant firgure out if its the game or the hardware. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Should I call Tech support at EA first or PNY?

Over the whole time I have been on this forum and other BF2 support forums, I have never heard of such a problem - so I can only guess it's a problem with the 7300GS... I do believe that's one of the lowest end nVidia cards out there... What graphics settings are you running on? What res?

Have you tried reseating the card?

I picked it up on sale at CompUsa for 100bucks so I couldnt let that offer pass. Everything is on Medium, the shadows on - Low, Dynamic Lighting - Low, Text Filter - High. My Res is 800x600 60mhz. Dell 17" Flat Panel. I tryed putting everything to "high" thinking my card can handle it but I guess not everything was laggy.

Reseating the card? take it out and put it back in?

Try everything on low for the moment and see if it still produces the glow.

Yeah, take it out, make sure the fan is clean-ish and put it back in.

I went home on my lunch break. I uninstalled the drivers. Opened up my computer pulled out the card plugged it back in. Reinstalled the drivers. Change the 3D game settings, and the game looks awsome better than before even on all settings medium.

            Also - you picked up a 7300GS for $100 ?!

7600GS (everything on high, perhaps not AA) for $88.88
