    USB problems

I'm having some trouble getting my computer to recognize my mp3 player. When i plug it in it doesn't show up in my computer but it works on 2 other computers. It is the only usb device i have a problem with, my computer has no problem recognizing my thumb drive and other usb devices. Any ideas?

Do you think this is the right place to post this? Not even related to bf2 or support.

Very basic but try another USB port.

I have found many times certain things like MP3 players and Ext. hardrives don't work well or at all with certain ports.

Is your mp3 player a Creative? If so, Im having the same problem with my friend trying to plug his Vision M into my comp. I think they are drivers that need to be installed on the computer first.

I would check the GENX web site to see if they have either a specific driver or even certain type of software that needs to be installed so you can read the drive.

Or alteratively, Google "GENX usb connection problems".

Download drivers from here and still no luck.

                      Re: USB problems

I'm stumped. It looks like a standard USB thumb drive/mp3 combo.

Last resport - contact GENX's tech support.
