2gb of ram for bf2 is ideal the problem is prices are up right now. expect to pay near $200 for 2x1gb valuekits

Unfortunately I couldn't fit 2gb of memory in there

but there are quite a few people on these forums that use only 1gb, but probably at medium textures. And with the super lanboy case, which is $80, you would also have to buy a separate PSU, which would add an extra $50 or so. But the Sonata is a decent case and comes with a decent PSU for $90

Big question is, do you have any components from your current rig you're willing to use in this one? If so, you'll find going that route much cheaper. Also, look around for combo deals. I hang around on the Anandtech hot deals forums a good bit and there are always good deals on MB/proc combos and memory kits that can save you big bucks if you're willing to look for them.
