    flashing bios

first, im trying this out as i heard u can make the 5200 just like an 5500 and i dont need my 5200 anymore and since its not worth selling, im gonna play around with it...

2nd...is it possible to flash bios for a dell motherboard...i heard some yeses and no's

3rd if u can...im not sure wat im doing wrong..so how do i do it

heres wat i do: i made the flopply bootable and i put in a test.rom file, the nvflash file and the file that came iwth nvflash

and when i rebooted i typed
    "nvflash -p -u -f test.rom"
and then i rebooted and nothing really happened..wat am i doing wrong and how do i fix it...i want to try this out

EDIT: i think i found the right command.... just typing "nvflash name.rom" would help update the bios but now i get a GPU mismatch error...ugh

        Re: flashing bios

the 6800ultra is at 400mhz core and 1.1ghz memory
and the gt (vanilla) is at 350mhz core and 1.0 ghz memory

i have a bfg 6800gt oc factory oced at 370mhz core an 1.0ghz memory and i oced it some more to 400mhz core and 1.0ghz...so my question is if i oc it to those speeds, will it be exaclty the same as a 6800ultra. from wat ive heard, its suppose to be exactly the same, but i wonder if anyone has done this b4 and seen a diff
