ATi Radeon X850XT Problem

Hi guys, i got a problem with my X850XT. Wich settings is this card recommended to have..i can only run

Textures: Medium

Geometry: High

Lighting: Low

Dyn.Lighting: Off

Dyn.Shadows: Off

Effects: Low

Texture: Medium

Texture filtering: Medium

AA: Off

Res: 1280x1024@75Hz

FPS is constantly 50 - 60 no more, no less

Anything more wont make it....the FPS drops veryyyy low and gets stuttering.
What should i do, Any ideas?

more ram is always a good idea, maybe try updating your drivers, or even try omegadrivers -- www.omegadrivers.net

got 1 gig, and it is 6.8 CCC. :/

BTW, the X850Xt has 512 mb memory.

I have 2gb ram, and a Saphire x800GTO, 256mb ddr3 ram.

I'm running with EVERYTHING on medium, and I currently have 2xAA on. With the AA off I was getting around 60-90fps, with it on I've taken a 20fps hit. Before I started messing with the AA I was running with 2-3 things on "high".

Also, I'm running at a slightly lower resolution - 1024x768@75mhtz. The rest of my specs are below, and I'm running the latest ATI drivers.

I have the Saphire x800 GTO 256 as well with 1 gig 3200. Although I have it on low settings because I am a fast player; I will try medium and high settings and it ran pretty well before with 50-77fps.

According to your sig, you run a XP Mobile CPU. Thats your problem right there.

Ive got the platinum edition of that card and I dont get FPS as high as you are showing. I get around 30 fps in action with slightly higher settings.

That just doesnt make any sense, I have the same card as you and similar specs and get great fps and I'm running all high with lighting on medium. Something is kinda goofy there..........

this is very goofy, crossfire X850 XTs would probably run all high just fine...but 50 fps medium, low and stuttering....hmmm

See my specs in sig, the first one, dont got internet connection on the other one (and is still in parts) ^^

Checked your page file size? Make it static, min and max = 1.5 times your physical RAM.

And I would double the RAM for good measure.

i cant mixture with that pc at all :'(
bcuz its a HP home-pc, if a even open it...
but the page file is exactly 1.5 time bigger

Checked your page file size? Make it static, min and max = 1.5 times your physical RAM.

And I would double the RAM for good measure.

That is not exactly true, contact HP and ask them. If you do upgrades to MOST retail computers, it DOES NOT void the warranty. However, there are some manufactures that do put that sticker on it, and if it comes back to them, they will have an excuse to say no, but HP/Compaq, Gateway/E-Machines, Sony, and Acer all have the possibility of upgrades without voiding the warranty. But call them and ask, it is not as if you are replacing the mobo.
