I was just wondering that how many people play BF2 with dual cores and if that has a profound effect on the performance of Bf2. How much CPU power does one core does if you got one and vice versa for the dual core.

I play with Intel Pentium D it's Dual core right? I don't care I can play BF2.. I'm upgrading when vista comes out so.

P4 Dual Core, wouldnt expect much difference in performance as BF2 doesnt Support Dual Core,,

Upgraded last week from an Athlon 64 3700+ SD to Athlon 64 4800+ x 2 and see no real difference in BF2.

I currently have a single-core AMD sempron @ 1.8Ghz but it plays as good as james_1991-fighter's P4 @3.06 soon I am upgrading to a 2.0Ghz AMD 64x2 4200-4800+ let's see what happens

hyperthreading is not a true dual core CPU...

i plan to get a conroe machine sometime near when Vista is released then ill have a dual core :P (have a secondary Pentium D machine does that count?)

Single core Althon 3200+, but I have a laptop with a Pentium M 1.7 Ghz that runs it just as well.
