Anyone able to Dual Boot XP & Vista?

Has anyone been able to doit,

I have XP on a 10gb partition off a 250gb sata ( rest is partitioned as default install patch ie everything installs to D; ), and Vista on a new Maxtor 80gb sata,

i had a problem last night after installing Vista that it took over my system and wasnt able to boot up XP anymore, but after googling and finding out that if you opened Recovery Console and typed 'fixboot' it would allow XP to boot as default OS, but i want to make it so i get the option to choose, i know that there is a problem which it because Vista use's BCD and XPs boot.ini file gets deleted, i recreated it and works

so should i install vista again, then install XP so that xp should overwrite the boot records allowing for dual boot (assuming it works that way)

or has anyone else figured out how to doit?

    ps Vista looks very nice

after some perseverance i found my answer,, with a nice guide

i disabled my other drives n installed Vista so it only looked like i had 1 40gb hdd, once this was done turned on the others and now i just use the F11 boot options and pick the Vista drive when i dont want to boot into XP (which was left in tact.

Hmm, when I start my comp I get a message where I have to choose of Windows Vista and Earlier version of windows (XP) and if I dont choose withing 20 sec it will automaticly boot from Vista. (Vista is installed on one HD and XP on another)
