graphics cards help

Guys a complete noob with computers.....is a "512MB DDR3 nVidia® GeForce™ Go 7900 GTX graphics" a good graphics cards.

Looking at a dell xps 1710 and would like to know best option as a graphics card...any other hints/tips would be great

U dont need to flame him everyone was a noob sometime and it is a good time for him to learn by the way just have a look on the links given to u and you will know what to do :)

cheers mate...would i notice the difference between 1024MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (2x512) [Included in Price] or 2048MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM (2x1024) [€ 290.40 extra] ......does it really matter?

Looked it up....yep i'm a noob alright, feel like i'm about to drink 100yr old scotch and then adding cola or something.

think i'll get it....should last a while too.

Of course 2gig will allow a smooth gameplay while 1gig might cause stuttering in the begining of the game specially when u go high in graphics. @ assassin sorry if i hurt ur feelings my apologies.
