Is my mobo, I'm also looking at a small (20 gig maybe) Sata HDD to run games off of.

I mean do you have to have a special SLI mobo? I'm trying to figure out what my next upgrade should be.

i think maybe in this day and age you would need a SLI board to be able to run SLI,,

unless ofc you have access to some older cards

'Five years ago, SLI stood for Scan Line Interleave. You installed two PCI Voodoo 2 cards in your computer, and one of them rendered the odd-numbered scanlines while the other rendered the even-numbered ones, in 3D mode. SLI wasn't cheap, but it held the 3D performance crown for a surprisingly long time, and the acronym was therefore seared into gamers' brains.'

same as the way you need a crossfire board for ATi cards to do the samething

i think there is a 6600GT thats agp and can run in SLI so you;d have to find a x2 agp slots

yep you can use the p4, just have to find the right mobo.

lists intel motherboards, just find one that matches your chip.
