What is the tempature of your X2 CPU?

I've just got my 4400+ running. 41C in bios.

What is yours? Is my 41C normal ?

Btw, do you recommend "Amd Cold n' quiet"? (what ever it's called!)

Dont trust what bios says ,it can be very wrong. Download CoreTemp most effective program to watch temp. 4400+ 41C idle is not great or bad.

Most, if not all temp monitoring programs get their readings from the BIOS. If you want dead on accurate temps get a good temp probe.

            Opteron 170 OCed to 2.65 @ 30c
            ZALMAN CNPS7000B

I have excellent airflow in my case though, nothing to trap in heat in the form of wires, extra cards or drives. BTW, yes, I know it is not an X2, but in my book, it is close enough.

A simple and cheap upgrade from the stock cooler is the Arctic cooling Freezer pro, it what I have. 3800 x2 @ 2.5ghz idle 32 load 43 running 1.45vcore.

Don't trust bios temps. Download Speedfan. My 3800 X2 is running at 2.5ghz and 35c with stock fan and heatsink.
