BIOS Update

Hi, I'm going to re-install my Windows and update the BIOS. I do know that you have to Flash the BIOS in order to update it, do I have to clear my CMOS before I flash the BIOS?

You can in order to be real safe. It's recommended u do it after the flash and go into the bios and set it back to defaults then reboot. Go back into the bios and set up the bios to your liking.

i would just save your bios settings(if you have a mobo that allows it) or write them down and then set everything to default. then install bios update and change back to custom settings.
