Audify 2 ZS vs XFI xtrememusic

I know it shouldnt be here but I need a very quick answer. sorry mods!!! pls let it sit for 5 minutes.

One is cheaper than the other and Im sick of saving

Which one should I get and Why? what does the xfi HAVE that the 2zs doesnt?
I cnt figure it out.

Unless your an audio whore you wont notice much difference, even onboard sound would be good enough on most decent mobo's.

I disagree Skunk-dogz, as I tried all three....mobo, ZS, and Extremusic. I noticed a good difference from the onboard Realtek sound to the ZS. However, the jump up to the Extremusic wasn't worth the price. If yer sick of saving, and you're not going with mobo, get the ZS now.

the extreme music is the dogs bollox....save your money,be patient and get it when you've got the money together.
when i first put mine in( 4 months ago) i joined a map and just stood in awe at the sound difference (from soundblaster live 24) ... it was great just listening to the jets fly overhead,my initial thought was that it sounds very similar to being at an airshow.
the only initial problems i had was the software and getting it all set up properly,there are lots of adjustments for you to make.
i paid 99 euros for it..worth every penny.

Im sick of onboard sound and I hate low sound settings its so crappy. I want a card that will play on HIGH sound settings giving me an fps boost perhaps as well. So get the ZS, screw the xfi? coz xfi has like 128 3d voices and zs has 64 3d voices so whats the point of 128 when there arent even 128 players ever?

X-Fi + Headphones + CMSS = FTW!!! I have an Audigy 2 ZS also and the X-Fi is better hands down. The 128 voices does not mean 128 players lol. It means up to 128 simultaneous sounds. Do a google search for Audigy 2 ZS vs X-Fi first before making a decision. Oh yeah also BF2 was one of the frist games to take advantage of X-fi's EAX 5.0. So yeah it makes a difference.

I agree, X-Fi is the frogs bollox, onboard sound junk should be banned, its up there with Intel Extreme onboard gfx, ugh!!!

So close. Actually the formula is

X-Fi + 5.1 Headset - CMSS = FTW!!

Turn CMSS off with true 5.1 headphones (I use the LTB) and you step into a surround realm which rivals reality.

I actually had to tone down my EAX a bit because I heard HUMMV's that were half a map away. I hear artillery fire from an insane disance as well. And absolutely NOBODY has been able to sneak up on me since I got the LTB's.
