Is there someone here with a Gainward BLISS 7800GS+ AGP (512mb)
2GIG ram and 2.80GHZ processor

what settings do you have ?

I got the Gainward Bliss 512m AGP card on an MSI K8T Neo2 mobo and A64 3000 cpu, 2Gb RAM and Audigy 2 ZS sound. Settings are all high, 100% distance and I did have 4xAA, but took it out as I get jittery scope zooming with any sniper or scoped weapons - I zoom in but sometimes it un-zooms automatically and loses the target, especially when I'm moving the scope around. I have been playing with the AA and mobo BIOS overclocking features so it could be fine on 4xAA, just have'nt narrowed down the problem to the card. I also have'nt compared the fps since the game plays fine without noticable slowdowns unless in Iron Gator with a big firefight going on.

Mighty pleased though over my previous 6600GT - been shot a number of times just looking around at the scenery.

I am looking at a A64 4000 cpu - anyone got a feel for whether the extra cpu would provide any benefit in that set up ?

Upgrading to the 4000+ may allow you to so squeeze a couple of extra FPS out, but there wont be a huge difference.
